Tesco challenged us to create an event which would inform and inspire their Non Food store personnel in preparation for the crucial Christmas trading period.

TMB’s Solution

TMB Events conceived and produced the inaugural Christmas conference in 2006 which has now grown to a two-day event encompassing multi-media seminars, interactive electronic voting and a supplier exhibition featuring over 40 blue chip brands such as Sony, Philips, Nintendo and O². The evening entertainment includes a gala dinner featuring high profile entertainment acts – recent years have seen James Corden, JLS and Dionne Bromfield take to the stage!

The Outcome

Now in its seventh year, the annual Christmas Conference is a ‘hot ticket’ event with 1,200 delegates due to attend in 2012, with 94% of delegates rating the event as ‘excellent/good’ and TMB Events have also been appointed to run a number of road show style training events for store staff on the back of the success of the conference.
