To market and manage Audi’s prestigious quattro Cup, the largest amateur golf tournament in the World.

TMB’s Solution

To showcase the brand’s links with golf, TMB Events designed the ultimate Audi golf competition and promoted the event format to all Audi Centres. TMB Events toured the resulting roadshow of events across the UK, providing Centres with premium event management, on-brand support and superior service.
Audi customers were treated to breakfast, gifts, 18 holes of golf, halfway-house refreshments, a sumptuous buffet dinner and an exciting prize ceremony. As a four-tier competition, winners from all Invitational Round events progressed to one of the Regional Finals, with top scorers reaching the exclusive 2-day UK Final – complete with celebrity golf clinic, trick shot show from the World Champion, awards dinner, exciting gifts and photographic mementoes. Winners made it through to the week-long World Final, held in different exotic locations each year.

The Outcome

TMB Events has successfully managed Audi’s esteemed quattro Cup for over 21 years. The competition now attracts over 85,000 players from more than 53 countries across the globe. The largest ever number of competitors took part in the UK last year and customer support for the event continues to flourish. Crucially, the tournament also has buy-in from Audi Centres, adding greater weight to the force and longevity of the event.
